RFQ Types

What is a Buy RFQ?

A Buy RFQ is a request-for-quote submitted by a buyer to receive asks from potential sellers for the purchase of ASICs. Sellers answer Buy RFQs outlining ASIC type and condition, shipping origin and price.

Buy RFQs can be either By Quantity or By Hashrate.

What is a Sell RFQ?

A Sell RFQ is a request-for-quote submitted by sellers to receive bids from potential buyers interested in purchashing ASICs. Buyers answer Sell RFQs specifying shipping destination and price.

Sell RFQs can be either By Quantity or By Hashrate.

By Quantity RFQs

A By Quantity RFQ (either Buy or Sell) allows the user to request a specific quantity of ASICs. By Quantity RFQs requires the user to specify a specific ASIC model and hashrate variant.

Examples:

  • A buyer might submit a Buy RFQ for 100 Bitmain Antminer s19j Pro 104 TH/s.
  • A seller might submit a Sell RFQ for 2,000 MicroBT Whatsminer M30s++ 112 TH/s

By Hashrate RFQs

A By Hashrate RFQ (either Buy or Sell) allows the user to request a specific quantity of Hashrate. By Hashrate RFQs require the user to specify the ASIC model and the answer will specify which hashrate variants are used to fulfill the RFQ.

Examples:

  • A buyer might submit a Buy RFQ for 10,000 TH of Bitmain Antminer S19j Pro. A seller can answer with the following offer:
    • 50 units Bitmain Antminer S19j Pro 96T + 50 units Bitmain Antminer S19j Pro 104T
  • A seller might submit a Sell RFQ for 10,000 TH of MicroBT Whatsminer M30s++ with an average hashrate of 110TH.
    • The buyer answers with a bid for the whole or partial lot considering the 110 TH average.

Counter Offer

Our platform now allows for direct negotiation of pricing through the Counter-Offer feature. Users can indicate their willingness to receive counter-offers when responding to a Buy RFQ or Sell RFQ. They have the option to set a minimum price threshold, ensuring that offers outside this range are automatically rejected while keeping it anonymous for confidentiality. RFQ creators can then initiate a counter-offer if desired.

Deposit

To initiate a counter offer, the user is required to place a deposit of $1,000 USD paid in stablecoins (USDT or USDC) through the platform payment gateway.

The deposit is used as follows:

  • If the counter offer is accepted, then the deposit is used towards the payment of the RFQ.
  • If the counter offer is rejected, funds are returned.
  • If the counter offer is accepted, but the user who proposed the counter offer does not proceed with the order, the deposit will be paid to the user who accepted the counter offer as a compensation.
